The research project covered the deep economic crisis since 2007 in Spain and Europe, which has also translated into a social crisis and an incipient erosion of the political legitimacy of the guiding principles of neoliberal urban governance.
The project proposed a revision of the three central elements in the reconfiguration of the city production model: the policies that have governed and marked the previous cycle, the phenomena of collective action and the reception of these by the institutions and the insertion of their logics into new formulas to be applied in public policies.
